This monocular, single pillar, compound microscope by Walter Bulloch dates from after 1880, but prior to 1890. It is the 'New Biological' later called the 'Biological No. 1' model. It could be supplied with a 'clip stage', 'glide stage' or mechanical stage. This example, from another private, has the lowest serial number of a New Biological that I know of.
