This small microscope consists of the cylinder of glass with top and bottom brass covers made of thin brass. The eye side of the lens housing is painted black as is the top surface of the floor.
HISTORY OF THIS MICROSCOPE
This type of instrument is a cheaply made but easy to use simple livebox microscope. It could easily be used to view living or other three dimensional subjects. It was made from the late 19th century into the 20th.
