THIS PAGE: Powell and Lealand's Substage wheel of Apertures
This Powell & Lealand substage attachment stores in the accessory case. It has four different size apertures to reduce glare. It is used with low power objectives (in this case the one inch and two inch objectives), in concert with the concave mirror. For higher power work, the achromatic substage condenser will give better illumination compared to this apparatus.
