Nelson No 1 microscope Objectives

There are five Baker objectives with the Nelson No 1 microscope. These are labeled on the can lids, 3", 1", ½", ¼", and ⅛. In all but one case, the top of each objective can is labeled Baker, Agent reflecting that these objectives were of German manufacture. Of these four, one is by Gundlach, the others are by Seibert (Gundlach's successors). The other objective, the ¼ inch, is marked only on the can and the word Agent is omitted. This was typical of English objectives made for the trade. The form is also quite different from the others, taking the English form rather than the German form.
